The college is located at a small hamlet of village ‘Hiratola’ in Goregaon Tahsil of District Gandia (Fig.1). Extreme part of Maharashtra. It lies at 30km away southern direction from Gandia; and 15 km away towards eastern-southern direction from Goregaon.The peripheral area covers around 55 villages at the radius of 20km in East-West and North-South.Gandia (district HQ) is Historical Town, its name derived from the formative word of GOND community (Gandia Residence of ‘Gond’) mostly tribal and backward people with livelihood on forest-by-product and agriculture. Towards the east of Hiratola another taluka place is Amgaon which lies at a distance of 15km. Eastern-Southern side, at a distance 28km another Taluka place Salekasa is located. From all the side, Hiratola is connected by tar road.
There is an ample transport facilities available (State run transport Bus, Private Taxies, Autoes and Minibuses etc.) In the vicinity of the village,there are Six High Schools.There is important pilgrimage place known as Mandodevi, which is 6 Km far Hiratola. The village is formed a hub for educational activities inthe midst of denudated and deteriorated forest. The forest landscape consisting of hills and hillocks, small rivulet, lakes and tanks and small ponds (water bodies) provide clean, healthy and scenaric atmosphere One can reach to Hiratola by own or hired (Govt. Private) transport without any hassle from Gandia within 45 minutes and from
Goregaon of Amgaon (Taluka places) within 20 minutes. The college is inview to provide transport to and fro to the students from Gandia, Goregaon & Amgaon .The college is in its 6th year of development. During the period Soil Science, Entomology, Horticulture,
Pathology, Agronomy and Extension laboratories a re est a blished and rejuvenat ed. The most essentia l equipments, glassware and chemicals have been proc u red for use i n practicals. Similarly a full-fledge Animal Husbandry department is established. The college is equipped with qualified and experienced teaching faculty.
